Crown`s 150,000 sq.ft. headquarters and manufacturing facility on Illinois Avenue in Paterson, NJ produces millions of linear feet of foil products each month.

All manufacturing is done in the USA which minimizes supply chain delays and costs

color matching

Crown can match any metallic or pigment shade not shown in our product catalogs, subject to Minimum Order Quantities. We can match Pantone colors, or other color chip or foil samples that you need for your project.


Holographic Origination

Crown has a fully-staffed Art and Origination Department, allowing us to take you from design concept to finished holographic foils or laminates in a few weeks. We offer various levels of holographic origination and OVDs utilizing dot-matrix and E-beam technology.

One of Crown’s core competencies is developing foils for unique, specific applications. As substrates and coatings onto which foils are stamped change, the foils have to evolve as well in order to maintain product integrity and production efficiencies for stampers and other foil users.

Base Foil Development – Over the years Crown has developed various foil and laminate products used in both Graphics and Security applications. We work with individual customers to meet their needs. Our foils and laminates have been used for various paper and plastic applications, as well as on banknotes, passports, various identification card applications. Graphics Foils

Crown offers cost-effective decorating solutions that adds value,
prestige and flair. Crown’s vast array of Metallic and Pigment foils are widely
used to create interest and focus to graphic arts products, plastics, packaging,
and promotional materials.




Plastic Foils

Whether it is a label for a shampoo bottle, cosmetic tube, or plastic cap,
Crown has the foil solution for these applications. We offer traditional silver,
gold and copper tones, as well as numerous metallic colors which we can customize to a
customer’s specification. The effects could be subtle, or eye-catching. Either way,
our foils allow your products to stand out in the market place.




Security Foils

Crown is a pioneer in the security foil market and is America’s first fully integrated
manufacturer of embossed holograms. Whether it is a passport for travel across borders,
a driver’s license or national ID, or an employee badge to access secure office locations,
holograms have been used to secure these various forms of identification. Crown works
closely with secure ID solution providers in the US and around the world.




Textile Foils

Crown has developed metallized foils to create metallic effects on pre-treated textiles.
Crown offers a large portfolio of metallic and pigment colors extensively used in the fashion industry
for shirts and garments that strengthen and communicate brand image. With proper design and use
of proper materials, our textile foils are guaranteed to impress and enhance clothing lines for
sportswear, evening wear or casual outfits and shirts, conveying sophistication, exclusivity,
and premium quality.




License Plate Foils

Crown has been supplying license foils for commercial, decorative, and security applications
since the mid 1990’s. We supply license plates in a variety of colors and can match colors and
designs for any specific application. Crown is a pioneer in security foils, and an expert in holography,
so we can also develop a custom multilevel security approach that best meets your needs.




Holographic Gratings

Crown’s Pixel-Grafx™ and Retail-Vision™ holographic foils are widely used to create eye-catching designs
for packaging materials. These foils are also used on greeting cards, book covers, and a whole host of point-of-purchase
applications. Our holographic foils are used to decorate toys, fishing lures, even fashion accessories, shoes,
and garments.
